Introduction:

Principle:

The high-speed disc separator is a vertical centrifuge. The drum is mounted on the upper end of the vertical axis and is driven by a motor through a transmission device to rotate at high speed. In the drum, there is a set of disc-shaped parts that are stacked together-discs. There is a small gap between the disc and the disc. The suspension is added to the drum from the feed pipe located in the center of the drum. When the suspension flows through the gap between the discs, the solid particles sink down to the discs under the action of the centrifuge to form sediment. Sediment slides along the surface of the disc and disengages from the disc and accumulates in the part with large diameter in the drum. The separated liquid is discharged from the outlet of the drum. The function of disc is to shorten the settling distance of solid particles and expand the settling area of the drum. The production capacity of the separator is greatly improved due to the installation of disc in the drum. The solid accumulated in the drum is manually removed after the separator is shut down, or discharged from the drum without stopping by the slag removal mechanism.
